SAFRANDANE IS AN ETHICAL AND RESPONSIBLE BREEDING OF GREAT QUALITY DANISH DOGS! Located in St-Alexis-de-montcalm in the Lanaudière region, we are in the countryside, a little piece of paradise! We are committed to the improvement and preservation of the breed, which is why we carefully select our breeders for their good conformation, their health, their pleasant temperament, their longevity and their genealogy, transparency is one of our greatest qualities. Particularities
At SaFranDane we do everything in our power to make your experience with your future Great Dane a positive one! All our dogs are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club as purebred and have a complete pedigree that we are proud to share with you. Our females are also Canadian champions in conformation, in the process of obtaining this title and/or from lines of Canadian, American and Danish champions. Our female breeders are tested for hips/elbows by an orthopaedist, eyes by an ophthalmologist, thyroid gland check-up and cardiac auscultation is also complete. All these tests are certified and published by the OFA. We also put a lot of effort into socializing and following the families who adopt our puppies. The goal is to place the right puppy in the right family. We work with Jane Killion's "Puppy Culture" socialization program.
