Description
In addition to training and teaching, Dressage Emmanuelle Lanctôt-Bédard specializes in the breeding of Friesian horses and Friesian SportHorses.
Breeding includes two types of activities:
The prestigious Lord Ans, a Friesian stallion registered with FHANA and the Friesian SportHorse Association (Foundation Book, Bronze elite), is actively in service.
Fresh and frozen semen are available.
Lord Ans comes from the modern sports lines of Friesians. His sire, the magnificent Nanning 374, is an approved stallion, and is half-brother of Fridse 423, one of the representatives of the Friesian Train at the opening of the World Equestrian Games in 2010. His dam, Greta, is imported from Holland, and resides at the Equinocks stables; she is part of the Caval'Art circus tour.
On the competition grounds, whether by his royal appearance, his imposing presence or his show results in Dressage, Lord Ans makes a very stong impression. He received brilliant comments from the judges on the quality of his work and strong marks for his gaits; his expressive and powerful gallop was particularly appreciated. Lord Ans is 2013 Champion Training level Open of the Quebec Dressage Gold Tour and 2014 Champion level One Open of the Quebec Dressage Gold Tour, achieving results as remarkable as 72%.
Lord Ans is endowed with a keen intelligence and great sensitivity; he establishes a very strong connection with the people around him. At work, he is diligent and cooperative. He is a proud and powerful horse, whose splendour and elegance make people turn around. His excellent conformation, as well as his presence and charisma were highlighted at his inspection.
Due to his exceptional personality, his popularity on social networks has an international scope, and continues to grow.
The breeding also includes three superb brood mares, including two Friesian mares and one Canadian SportHorse mare (Holsteiner).
The foals from the breeding are therefore purebred Friesians or Friesian SportHorses.
The Friesian SportHorses, combining the beauty, temperament and expressive gaits of Frisian combined with the athleticism, elasticity and endurance of sports breeds, are versatile horses, particularly talented for dressage and driving; many of them have distinguished themselves at the highest levels in these disciplines.
