Description

The breeding La Source Noire is the realization of my passion for the Black German Shepherd following the love at first sight I had for BlackHaven's Lolitta, my first Black German Shepherd. From then on, the German Longhaired Shepherds fascinated me so much that I wanted to have my own lineage. It is still under construction because we are looking for quality instead of quantity, our goal being to have a healthy lineage with stable temperaments.

Our breeders participate in competitions and dog sports in order to develop their qualities. They have all the necessary care and attention, live with us and are only very rarely in enclosures. They never sleep outside and do not serve as puppy mills, with retirement occurring around the age of six. They pass all the tests recommended by the German Shepherd Club of Canada. They are certified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals for hip and elbow dysplasia, thyroid, eyes, heart disease, degenerative myelopathy, dentition and patellar).

Particularities

We believe in purebred dogs and want to ensure that their standards are maintained according to the specifications of the International Dog Federation, an affiliate of the VDH (Verein für das Deutsche Hundewesen). We work as a team with several people: veterinarians, nutritionists, coaches, nothing is left to chance. Your canine companion will be a source of happiness thanks to our team.
